The old clichés say that "You're never too old!" and "Age is just a number!" So, in order to prove them to be true, and to send me on my way into my seventh decade, I set about realising the ambition of becoming a personal trainer. Now, freshly armed with a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, it's time to commence helping as many people as I can to attain their fitness goals, and keep our nation fit, and healthy, and fulfilled.

Born into a family with a rich sporting tradition, sport has always been an essential part of my life, and a need to participate and be active a constant. I have played football throughout my life (still do, in fact), coached football teams (successfully) for many years, and played cricket, as well as pursuing martial arts (karate). I have also undertaken mentoring roles in previous employment and derived THE greatest satisfaction from helping others to be the best they can be.

In my mid-fifties (having retired), I decided to become a regular gym member and, having overcome some self-consciousness and nerves, now regard it as a central component of my existence. So, therefore, it seemed an organic progression to use this new found confidence and enthusiasm to help others on their fitness journeys. If I can do it, then so can you. It would be my sincere honour and privilege to be there with you every step (and rep) along the way. Everybody is welcome.
