I have been a member of pure gym stretford for many years. It is a great gym with a variety of classes led by professional personal trainers, the atmosphere is friendly the staff so helpful and approachable. There is a family like feeling at this gym, the classes in particular circuits, spin , pump and boxfit led by Asad are by far the most popular and you can definitely feel a workout. Equipment availability not the best at busier times but has good machines.

Joining up is fairly straight forward…

Joining up is fairly straight forward once you work out the options. Finding the off peak times took a few screen loops but got there. Otherwise all very straight forward and great prices. Return emails very quick and within mnutes of payment the pin code and QR entry code was wwith you, so technically ready to go. This isn't a reflection on Brierley Gym as it was done online. The gym staff itself wwe very helpful

Gym opens 28th September but they have introduced dynamic pricing. You have to pay up front so waited (obviously my error) and price went up £3 a month more! You don’t get anything more. Gym isn’t even open yet

Good for new gym goers!

PureGym is affordable, generally reliable, and it's cool that they open 24/7. Their classes which are not a huge fan of, but I think if you're looking to get into health and fitness, the classes are a useful point at which to start. Classes are friendly for newcomers so you don't have to worry about not having an appropriate skill level or fitness. They truly carer to a wide range of people. I deducted a star, however, because it's not exactly the cleanest at my local gym... but that's somewhat unavoidable; it has more to do with gym etiquette/the people rather than the gym itself. For what you are paying, you get a good service overall!

Everything but water!

Everything was great! Wish there were more and better water stations… the one they had was downstairs and was trickling. I wish you had another upstairs with a bottle filler. Other than that, the gym is awesome.

Clear and easy to navigate

Website and options were very clear. Easy to navigate and make initial payment. Had called in the gym and found staff helpful and facilities excellent, hence decision to join today.
